What's Happening December
HOLIDAY HOURS
We're open 7 days from Wednesday 17th (Including Mon 22nd and Tues 23rd with a very limited menu), but closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Open again from the 27th, right through to the 11th January.
We'll then be open our usual days, that is Wednesday to Sunday for the rest of January.
Folk Night - Thurs 4th December from 7pmish
A fun and friendly gathering of folk musicians. Join in or just listen.
Quiz Night - Thurs 11th 7pm Sharp!
Get a team together and win that $100 bar tab. This month we're even offering extra points for the best dressed Xmas themed team! Enter the raffle and win wine from Neudorf and Kahurangi. Impress your friends! $2 entry pp.
LIVESTOCK! - Sun 14th 1-7pm
It's that time again. 12 bands in 6 hours. Confirmed (in no particular order) are Gutterlove, Dem Blues Boys, Itchy & Scratchy, Where's Nancy?, Jason McIver, Serenity Now!, AlanJahJah & Band, Florian, Layla and Quazar.
As always, this event has a variety of bands, some of which are quite loud and may offend young or sensitive ears later in the day. Free entry.
Curry Night - Thurs 18th 7pm Sharp!
A buffet with three options and a range of breads. $40pp, bookings essential. The exact menu is on Facebook a week beforehand.
Our usual A La Carte menu is available in the bar if curry isn't your thing.
Traditional Folk Night - NOW ON CHRISTMAS EVE!
Our usual Trad Folk Night falls on Christmas Day, so we've bought it forward a day and renamed it for the occasion!
Traditional and festive folk music on Christmas Eve. What could be better while waiting for Santa.
NEW YEAR'S EVE
Mike and Mark will entertain us from 9pm, with acoustic covers of pop and rock classics. Full details shortly.

Steak Night each Wednesday from 5pm! Two 200g rump steaks and a bottle of wine for $64! Upgrade to glorious 400g Rumps for $90.
Pizza Night each Friday from 5pm! A pizza of your choice, separate green salad and two drinks for $55. Great to share, or maybe not!
